Padeswood works engineers go global

Two of our works’ engineers are spreading their wings to share the knowledge and experience they have gained at Padeswood with our colleagues in Australia and the USA. 

Anna Jackson from Holywell is joining a team of engineers who look after 21 Heidelberg Materials sites and will be based in Dallas, Texas. Her colleague, Kiln Engineer Lauren Kinch is joining the Heidelberg Materials/Holcim Group joint venture at Gladstone cement works in Queensland – the largest cement plant in Australia. 

David Quick, Plant Manager at Padeswood, said: “We are sorry to see Anna and Lauren leave us but one of the advantages of being part of a global business is the opportunity to work in different parts of the world. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to further their careers with Heidelberg Materials and we wish them all the very best.”
