Donation smooths the path for school

Children at Kirton-in-Lindsey Primary School are enjoying a new outdoor learning area after its paths were completed using stone donated by the cement business.

Simon Chudley arranged for the 58 tonnes of granite, worth around £1,300, to be delivered to the school near the Scunthorpe laboratory after being approached by a member of staff.

“We sourced the aggregate from MQP. The headteacher was very pleased we were able to help them finish creating the area,” said Simon, national technical manager for cement.
